Robyn is going to great lengths for a children’s wig charity

Robyn Hall, Customer Sales Administrator at West Yorkshire based PVC Compound specialist Dugdale Limited, is getting set to have her long hair cut off to support a charity which provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair.

Robyn has being growing her hair for over five years but on Saturday 1st July 2017, she will have her hair cut short in aid of the Little Princess Trust.

The charity provides wigs free of charge to children in the UK and Ireland who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.

Robyn, who is from Huddersfield, is not only donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust in order for it to be made into a wig, but is aiming to raise £750 for the charity.

“I’ll be having at least 12 inches cut off, as that’s the minimum length needed to make a wig,” said 26 year old Robyn, who has worked at Dugdale since 2015. “It’s taken five years to get this long but it’s just hair. So I thought ‘why not do something good with it’.”

“The support I’ve received so far from family and friends has been fantastic. But there’s still a way to go until I reach the target. So I would encourage everyone who is able to, to donate even a small amount and help make a huge difference to children experiencing hair loss,” Robyn said.

The big cut will take place at 10am at GCHQ Hair Designers in Brockholes, Huddersfield.
