Dugdale supports Veka Group UK charity drive
Leading PVC compounder, Dugdale Ltd was pleased to support the annual Veka UK Group Charity golf day earlier this month.
Dr Jeff Ryan and Andy Tombs attended on behalf of Dugdale, helping to raise funds in aid of Derian House, a children's hospice in Chorley.
The event was held on September 9, 2016 at Burnley Golf Course, Glen View and passed off very successfully.
Dr Ryan said that 'we were delighted to once again support our customer Veka Group UK in this very worthwhile cause.' Ryan added that 'the synergies between our two companies continue to grow – and long may they do so.'
Dugdale Ltd continues to invest and improve its Sowerby Bridge facilities to the tune of some £2 million spent in the past three years. The company's new laboratory line - equipped with an integral small scale pilot/product proving compounding line – is currently being equipped and is expected to be operational within the next two to three months.
Versatile manufacturing is key to Dugdale's supply and service, together with maximum capability of response times. Production changes are rung through the company's modular arrangement of high-speed mixers and compounding lines
On returning from visiting distributors and exhibitors at the triennial K 2016 exhibition (October 19-26) the Dugdale team will prepare for its Gold Sponsorship of PVC 2017, another triennial event, which takes place in Brighton UK, April 25-27, 2017.
