Dugdale strengthens sales support team to ensure service quality

Following its significant investment in capacity in recent years, PVC compounder Dugdale Ltd has strengthened the sales support team at its Sowerby Bridge head office to ensure that its customer service is among the industry’s best.

Managing Director Dave Outen says the latest move is the appointment of experienced customer service specialist Emma Bastow to the team. He says: “Emma has long experience of industrial customers, having worked in the commercial vehicle sales sector for many years. Despite her change of sector, her demonstrable skills in customer communication and sales administration are already proving an asset to our service capabilities.”

Emma Bastow says she relishes the excitement of a new industry. “I wanted a new challenge, and I’ve had to do some fast learning about PVC compounds. My role involves liaison with customers by telephone, e-mail and fax, to understand their needs in terms of both product and information, and to ensure that we more than satisfy those needs.”

Dugdale’s focus on customer service follows growth by acquisition – most recently involving the flexible PVC compounding business of Berwin – and major investment in production and laboratory facilities, enabling the company to offer a more extensive range of high-quality PVC compounds for rigid and flexible applications.

Dave Outen says: “Dugdale has a proud record of customer service and we will go to great lengths to ensure that service excellence always remains a priority.”
